On the 16th of April, ajuwaya essence correspondent visited the orientation camp in Shagamu, Ogun State about 8am in the morning just before the commencement of the closing ceremony ( Passing out Parade) of the 2008 batch A, stream I corp members.
The scene was quite interesting as the corp members were captured from different postures and activities getting set to depart to their respective primary assignment placing.
One of the personality ajuwaya essence correspondent spoke with was the new NCCF President, the person of Corper Onyedikachi O. Emeruwa, a graduate of Agricultural Engineering, Federal University of Technology, Minna…..Enjoy this bit of the numerous images…

IT'S BREAKFAST THIS TIME @ YIKPATA CAMP,KWARA STATE

...It's breakfast time, and i guess LAGBAJA is quite enjoying every bit of it ....Meanwhile, it was a strange experience to some corp members as they are not use to taking pap as breakfast, while some have to battle with eating the Yoruda popular delicacy 'AMALA DUDU and ILA ALASEPO"...what about the tea and bread,some would prefare it more ticker...It's all part of the experience anyway.

THE UGLY AND THE BEAUTY …a camp experience.

Kudos goes to the official of the nysc for their input to make sure our interest and welfare is being taken care of to the best satisfaction. Their effort should be praised.
However, the corp members sometimes are left to make do with the facilities at their disposal.
For example, the water situation at a certain orientation camp where corp members were to choose from the options bellow:
-join the long queue at the tap to fetch water, or
-join the queue at the manual pump, or
-go to the stream, or
-buy from the indigenes at the door step(#10,#20 per bucket), or
-buy PURE WATER to do the washing and bathing.
All the same, it’s all experience to share…
